The Terrace is a $140 million redevelopment of the Christchurch hospitality precinct once known as The Strip on Oxford Terrace. Being developed by Hereford Holdings Limited, The Terrace will feature premium restaurant and bar offerings, with laneways, courtyards, roof terraces and corporate offices above.
It will be made up of buildings of various architectural ‘styles and forms’ facing inwards to a central piazza. The new bars and restaurants will be over two levels, with a six-storey office building and a public carpark building to Hereford Street.
