Colliers CORPORATE TEAM OFF-ROAD TRIATHLON

The inaugural Colliers Corporate Team Off-Road Triathlon took place on 4 March 2012 at Long Bay on Auckland’s North Shore. This new annual event will promote team participation and wellbeing in spectacular natural landscape while raising funds for Cure Kids. We believe this off-road triathlon, developed by race director Alan Nelson, is a wonderful opportunity to introduce the corporate community to the fast-developing sport of off-road triathlon.

The race is made up of achievable 500m swim, 12km mountain bike and 5km run distances. Teams of three have the option for each member to complete the entire course in turn, or to complete one discipline each.

As the event’s principal sponsor, Colliers International is partnering with The New Zealand Herald, Todd Property Group and Geon to facilitate an exciting off-road corporate team race. The triathlon serves to bring together several values which are important to many corporations in New Zealand today. These include team participation, health and fitness, friendly competition and corporate social responsibility.

We hope that in time, the annual Colliers Corporate Team Off-Road Triathlon will become one of the premier corporate charity fundraising events in Auckland.
