Charles CooperAuckland Managing DirectorCharles joined Colliers International New Zealand in 1990. Between 1997 and 2000 he ran the company’s Wellington business and was the key man behind the Wellington office’s merger with competitor Harcourts, an initiative which doubled the size of the business. He now oversees an extensive property management portfolio of retail, commercial, industrial and residential properties (over $2 billion) and also provides consultancy services to clients. His property management expertise is particularly strong in the retail sector and he is one of New Zealand’s foremost authorities on the factors needed for a vibrant, profitable shopping centre.
