Profile:
With over 20 years’ real estate industry experience under his belt, Simon has an extensive track record in the industrial and development markets and maintains strong client networks throughout the Bay of Plenty region. Having begun his career specialising in industrial property around Mount Maunganui and the Port of Tauranga, he extended his focus to development of retail and industrial unit complexes in the early 2000s, starting with the development and subsequent sale and lease of the Fashion Island/Centamax Retail Centre in Papamoa.
Over the past four years Simon has concentrated his work on the sale of tenanted properties and has been highly focused on achieving the best possible prices from competitive sale processes, such as auctions and deadline private treaty. He has a huge database of unsatisfied buyers and is dedicated to getting the top properties for clients looking for long-term capital growth and the most secure rental income. In 2007, 2008 and 2010 he was voted REINZ Waikato/Bay of Plenty/Gisborne Top Commercial Salesperson of the Year.
As the current licensee and owner of Colliers International’s Tauranga office, Simon prides himself on detail, problem solving and his ability to prepare properties to get the best possible price for his clients. Between his networks and local knowledge of the area, he knows the right people to get the job done. A keen motorsport enthusiast, Simon is also a regular competitor in the Targa New Zealand rally.
