COMPANY EXPERIENCE
• Tim was employed by H G Livingstone Ltd in July 1996 as Centre Manager for The Palms prior to stage one opening in August of the same year. His primary responsibility at that stage was to assist in the development of the business/marketing plan for the centre.
• In 2002 Tim transferred to Livingstones head office to take responsibility for the management of a regional portfolio of retail shopping centres.
PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• In his role as Regional Retail Portfolio Manager in head office Tim oversees the marketing, operations and leasing for many properties including Barringtons, Bush Inn, Homebase, Richmond Mall, Riverside, The Hub Hornby and Wairakei Village and directs on site management and staff at these centres.
• He gives advice and assistance with redevelopments / expansions and precincting of shopping centres.
• With extensive experience in retail, particularly shopping centres, Tim provides consultancy on budgeting, rent forecasting, marketing, shop layout and design and recruitment. He also utilises his wide breadth of knowledge to assist, advise and manage existing and prospective tenants.
• Tim is an active member of the Livingstones Management Team involved in the strategic direction of the company.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
• Tim has 30 years experience in the retail sector and in the past worked as a Retail Property Manager for Noel Leeming before joining Telecom as Retail Sales Manager for the South Island.
• He widened his experience in Australia as Business Development Manager for a finance company supplying the retail sector before returning to New Zealand to join the DB Group where he played a primary role in the development, management and franchising of thirty plus franchise stores throughout the South Island.
• More recently Tim has played an integral part in the major redevelopment of Richmond Mall and The Hub Hornby through his property management role at Livingstones.
