COMPANY EXPERIENCE
• David joined the company (then called Fright Aubrey) in 1999 and became a Director in 2003. Livingstones purchased Fright Aubrey in 2008. David now holds the position of Director – Valuations in the enlarged practice now trading as Colliers International Valuation (ChCh) Limited.
PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• David has wide experience in valuation and consultancy for commercial, industrial, residential and development project property for the purposes of market, mortgage, rental, insurance and feasibility.
• David has significant experience valuing inner city apartments.
• David is called upon regularly to undertake valuations for arbitration proceedings and has provided evidence as an expert witness.
• He regularly acts as an arbitrator/umpire in valuation disputes.
• David appears as a witness in the Land Valuation Tribunal and High Court.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
• David commenced his valuation career with the Valuation Department in 1975 and worked in the Christchurch, Dunedin, Whangarei and Timaru offices. David achieved positions of Senior Valuer in the Valuation Department in Dunedin and District Valuer in Timaru. He commenced private practice in 1987 in Christchurch and was subsequently appointed the manager of a medium sized valuation firm.
