COMPANY EXPERIENCE
• Paul joined the company in May 2007 as the Auckland General Manager.
• In September 2008 he was then appointed as Director of Professional Services, overseeing Retail in the North Island, and Commercial managements north of Wellington.
PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Prior to coming to joining the company, Paul was part of the successful Sylvia Park leasing team. Each of the 3 stages were fully leased with retailers trading on each launch day and with income exceeding budgets. Process entailed Master Asset Strategy Planning through to negotiating lease deals with tenants.
• For the first time in the last 15 years achieving 100% occupancy of Lynn Mall Shopping Centre.
• Assistant Centre Manager during the delivery of Stage 1 of Westfield St Lukes development (2002).
• Designed and implemented the National Gift Voucher System for Westfield New Zealand.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
• Paul worked for a number of property companies in the UK prior to his departure to New Zealand in 1995. They included L.E.T. (London and Edinburgh Trust Ltd, at that time the UK's largest privately owned property company, and Sun Life Properties, now part of Axa.
• Once established in New Zealand Paul joined Westfield as a Property Accountant. He then moved onto a newly created role of Systems Accountant before moving into Centre Management, with the intention of joining the retail leasing team.
• AMP moved Retail Leasing in-house and asked Paul to join their 2 man team. Paul enjoyed the ability to utilize his accounting and centre management experience to during negotiations with prospective tenants.
• Kiwi Income then established their Retail Leasing team for Sylvia Park, and Paul was invited to join it.
• On the completion of the leasing for Sylvia Park, Paul then joined H G Livingstone Ltd.
