John Bowring is national auction manager for Colliers International. He has over 15 years’ experience in the real estate industry and is a specialist commercial property auctioneer, conducting auctions for Colliers International throughout the country.
Born and raised in Sydney, John moved to New Zealand eight years ago and joined Colliers International in late 2009. Since then, he has grown Colliers’ commercial property auction capability from around 40 auctions a year to almost 200 in 2012 – and has built the company’s Auction Room division into a multi-million dollar business.
John conducts charity auctions at several high-profile events each year, including the Auckland Mayoress’ Ball, the NZFMA Charity Golf Classic and at various events in support of the prime minister and the National Party.
