INVESTMENT bank Citigroup’s decision to relocate to Auckland and Sydney has freed up prime commercial space at Vodafone on the Quay in Wellington’s Midland Park.
Leasing agent Steve Maitland of Colliers International said the prospective new tenants would be moving into highquality partitioned premises in one of the capital’s most sought-after buildings.
Up to 15 staff could be accommodated on the building floor, part of a 26-storey tower com prising ground floor retail, 15 office floors and 10 floors of carparking.
‘‘This is arguably Wellington’s best lo cation, being situated on Midland Park,’’ Mr Maitland said.
The premises, covering 470 square metres or half a floor on the building’s 19th level, are partitioned with a large boardroom, offices server room and a large open-plan area and kitchen.
‘‘The fitout is of an extremely high stan dard,’’ he said. ‘‘The existing tenant is pre pared to leave the fitout to an incoming tenant saving them hundreds of thousands of dollars.’
