Queenstown-based Mac property Services has joined Colliers International as the company’s 10th New Zealand franchise and 12th office.
Mac Property Services has been rebranded as Colliers International Queenstown and will bring the number of Colliers’ offices globally to 293 in 61 countries employing 11,000 people.
The new franchise brings together local, national and international expertise to service Central Otago’s commercial and industrial property markets. Colliers International Queenstown will specialise in sales, leasing, research, valuation and consultancy. Property Management will stay under the Mac Property Services banner.
Queenstown director Alastair Wood says Colliers is a “perfect fit” for the new business. “We are a knowledge-based business and the new association offers a national and international network backed by high quality research, market expertise and impressive technology systems.
“Now more than ever the market is demanding specialist knowledge and consultants that have the ability to add value and create opportunities for clients’ existing property or new investments,” says Wood.
“Our existing valuation, consultancy and research division is boosted by offices in Auckland, Wellington and more recently Christchurch, where Livingstones, already partially owned by Colliers International, has merged with major valuation practice Fright Aubrey.
The new Colliers Queenstown office will be the biggest commercial real estate operator in Otago and Southland and becomes part of the biggest real estate services company in Australasia.
