Colliers commercial broker, Pete Peeters has just been named Salesperson of the Year in the 2008 Northland Real Estate Institute Awards of Excellence.
The awards evening, held last Thursday in Whangarei, acknowledged the work and dedication Pete has put into his profession over the last 11 years. In addition to winning the overall award, Pete was also named Commercial Salesperson of the Year - making it the seventh consecutive year he has been awarded this title.
Since entering the real estate industry in 1998, and after a short time in the residential market which provided him a solid foundation - Pete launched into the commercial arena, and in 1999 was awarded Northland Rookie of the Year. An extremely focussed individual with a passion for real estate and Whangarei, Pete puts his success down to the emphasis he places on building and maintaining his business relationships - and his achievements have consistently been recognised by both industry and peers.
Pete has always strived to be involved in projects which strengthen the local economy, and with Whangarei undergoing a transformation into a bustling modern city, the region is attracting the attention of a growing number of investors and developers. Pete has been involved in a range of developments including the Tarewa Centre, Okara Centre, and the recent sale of Port Whangarei.
