Colliers wins major Plumbing World property and facilities management contract
Colliers International announces that it has won a three year contract to manage specialist nationwide retail chain Plumbing World’s property requirements across the country.
The contract, won by Colliers’ Occupier Services business, involves the management of over 55 properties for Plumbing World - all offices, distribution centres and branches nationwide from Kerikeri to Invercargill. The work was previously managed in-house by Plumbing World.
A key element of the contract is responsibility for Plumbing World’s lease and facilities management activities including co-ordinating communication with landlords, lease negotiation, maintenance and managing lease obligations such as rent reviews and renewals.
This news follows an announcement in April that Colliers had won a major nationwide Occupier Services contract for Vodafone across its 1,500 nationwide properties and, in 2009, the acquisition of a major contract with the New Zealand Inland Revenue to manage its national lease portfolio across 22 sites.
