Sam is the leading industrial broker in the South Island and is the Director of the Industrial Sales & Leasing division for the Colliers Christchurch office. He has negotiated the majority of the South Islands largest industrial transactions during the past 11 years and in the past 4 years alone has delivered in excess of $480 million in sales.
Sam works closely with his colleagues across the AU/NZ Colliers network which ensures the Christchurch commercial market and his clients are as widely connected as possible. Sam works with corporate and private clients who benefit from his in-depth knowledge of the industrial sector, his proactive approach and strong business networks.
Sally has recently made the transition to Industrial Sales and Leasing from an extensive career in office leasing. Her experience includes dealing with both existing buildings and new design build projects ,working with clients on property selection and sourcing for tenants. Over the past three years she has been advising landlords and tenants on earthquake related property and leasing issues together with the effect of the Resource Management Act and Christchurch City Blueprint.
An industrial specialist for the past 16 years, Paul is involved with several significant design builds and unit developments, especially in Sockburn and Izone, Rolleston. He has strong relationships with leading industrial investors in Christchurch. Sales include: 16ha of industrial land in Rangiora; the sale of six large industrial sites for Ngāi Tahu Property in Nga Mahi Rd, Sockburn; the land formerly occupied by the Tip Top factory in Blenheim Rd; and seven substantial sections in Izone. Leases include: Pentair Water Solutions to a new office/warehouse in Hornby, a showroom in Moorhouse Ave to Konica Minolta; the Department of Conservation into offices in Nga Mahi Rd and Moorhouse Ave; and IRD into Moorhouse Ave.
Elliot has built a successful track record negotiating commercial leases, corporate and private for domestic and international tenants. His comprehensive experience includes leasing both existing stock and design builds.
Working with management, solicitors, and key industry professionals, he enjoys strong client relationships within the industrial sector.
His B.Com in supply chain management and logistics underpins Elliot’s in depth knowledge of this growing sector in Christchurch. Backed by practical experience in the market, Elliot’s clients enjoy his implicit understanding of their requirements and the issues they must negotiate to operate successfully.
Elliot also has a B.Com in Marketing.
Oliver is a high achieving broker, who has forged an impressive track record. He has negotiated more than $170 million of property and successfully transacted a large number of significant leases. Oliver covers all facets of the industrial market – from sales and leasing, through to design builds.
He is well versed in working with multiple stakeholders, including solicitors, engineers, banks, and valuers, to gain a greater understanding of the client’s position which has led to multiple successes. Oliver is widely regarded for his ability to work closely with his clients to ensure their requirements are met and is always a strong performer in the Christchurch market.
Oliver has a Bachelor of Sport Coaching from the University of Canterbury and spent time teaching Physical Education in London and Europe.
A former property lawyer, Christian was one of the top performing brokers in New Zealand in his first year as a Commercial Property Broker in 2014. Christian has consolidated that impressive debut, building a track record of sales totalling over $150 million along with strong leasing experience. Christian is widely regarded for his expertise in effectively marketing and selling “As Is Where Is”, vacant and tenanted investment property in Christchurch and generally focuses on sales in the city fringe industrial areas of Christchurch. Christian has a strong track record for sales within Sydenham, Addington, Waltham and Phillipstown.
Recent sales highlights include the $4 million sale at 11 Wigram Close; 53 Izone Drive, Rolleston for $3.9m and 17 March Place, Belfast for $2.55 million. Christian is a consistently strong performer in the Christchurch industrial market, where he’s developed excellent client relationships. Christian was invited to the Colliers APAC training camp in Sydney Australia, where he worked alongside a number of industry leaders.
