"The Colliers International Hotels team were successful in selling our partial interest in the Best Western President Hotel Auckland in what was a very complex transaction.
Dean Humphries was able to utilise his extensive experience and specialist expertise in demonstrating to potential purchasers how to unlock the full potential of this asset. Colliers strong connections in the hotel investment market ensured they were able to quickly target the optimal buyer for this hotel, which culminated in a highly successful outcome.
It is no coincidence that Dean has the necessary skills, drive and expertise to ensure a successful sale at an optimal price within a clearly defined time frame."
"Dean Humphries and his hotel team at Colliers International have made a significant contribution to the expansion of our New Zealand hotel portfolio over the past five years. This includes a wide range of advisory services such as market feasibility studies & valuations, operator selection services & buyside acquisition.
This has assisted RPG and our other partners in developing an extensive portfolio of four hotels across circa 830 rooms with an extensive range of global & regional hotel operators including Marriott (Four Points by Sheraton) , TFE (Adina), Events (QT) and Accor (Breakfree on Cashel). Dean’s extensive knowledge of all aspects of the hotel sector, is I believe, the best in the industry. He gives honest feedback and a balanced approach to ensure the needs of all involved parties, Owner and Operator are aligned.
The full range of specialist hotel services provided by Colliers has been instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of all of our hotels to date and I would have no hesitation in recommending Dean & his team to others in the industry."
Colliers International Hotels vast experience was demonstrated during this process, running a seamless and professional operator search. We were delighted with the result, with the Intercontinental Hotels Group being appointed to manage the hotel under their flagship Intercontinental brand. The Colliers International Hotels team is of the highest quality and I have no hesitation in highly recommending them."
