As an owner of Colliers International Wellington Richard has been involved in all aspects of the business and specialises in high value transactions and development opportunities.
He has over 25 years experience in commercial property and been involved in a large number of Wellington’s biggest sales.
Richard offers his clients a strong understanding of the wider commercial market whilst still delivering specialist advice across different property sectors. With a global breadth of local knowledge at hand, he takes a personal interest in ensuring his clients are kept well informed of the Wellington property market.
Richard began his career with commercial leasing and later sales and spent three years with central London property firm Gooch & Wagstaff. Between his expertise, knowledge base and the networks he maintains, he prides himself on being one of Wellington’s best informed brokers.
Richard was formerly on the Wellington committee for the NZ Property Council and is a past chairman for the Wellington branch of the NZPI.
Hamish joined the Commercial & Investment Sales team at Colliers International Wellington in May 2017. He specialises in sales in Wellington CBD and its surrounding suburbs.
His first stint with Colliers began in 2010 as a Sales and Leasing Broker, before making a move into the highly successful CBD Leasing team. Following his OE in 2016, Hamish has returned to build on the strong relationships he built during his time as a leasing broker, to be part of the largest commercial sales team in Wellington.
Hamish provides his clients thorough knowledge of the commercial property market and does so with honesty and integrity. Raised and educated in Wellington, he has built excellent networks in the capital and he does everything he can to grow those networks and gain outstanding results for his clients.
Michelle is an ambitious MBA graduate with a background in health care provision and management and a strong record of academic and professional achievements.
She is known for her tenacity and resilience and the ability to think on her feet. Expert at building relationships, her clients appreciate her integrity, professionalism, expertise and honesty.
At the forefront of her practice Michelle combines supreme management and organisational skills with a competitive knowledge of commercial sales. She has instigated and managed several significant transactions and has brokered property and business sales across a range of sectors during her time in Commercial Real Estate.
Michelle served as a Commissioned Officer in the British Armed Forces, the New Zealand Defence Force and alongside the United Nations. She has served in the UK, Germany, Bosnia, Northern Ireland and East Timor.
On leaving the Army she managed a staff of approximately 160 people as a Senior Manager at the District Health Board. Michelle joined Colliers International in 2006 and is part of the Wellington CBD Investment sales team and specialises in Commercial & Investment sales.
Sam has worked for Colliers International since 2006 and specialises in sales and leasing in the Te Aro precinct. Sam quickly builds relationships with both property owners, tenants and potential buyers and has based his business on focusing in one area.
Each year Sam completes a large number of sales and leasing transactions through establishing good relationships and creating a strong profile in the Te Aro market.
Before working at Colliers Sam attended Wellington College and University of Otago to gain a Commerce degree. After five years living and working in Sydney, Sam returned home and has been
working at Colliers International since.

Alistair has been involved in finance and property in Wellington for over 30 years. Originally choosing a career in banking Alistair worked for several major financial institutions mainly in the area of commercial and corporate funding including property finance for corporate and high net worth clients.
From 2000 Alistair has undertaken agency work mainly in the sale of properties in the greater Wellington area specialising in the negotiating of high value assets both on and off market. Alistair has held senior positions at major international agencies including Director of Capital Markets at CBRE.
This combination of finance and property experience has given Alistair a unique and in depth knowledge of the Wellington commercial property market
Sales & Leasing Broker
Specialising and living in the fast- growing Porirua area, Vince is enthusiastic about the opportunities the market provides in the region.
Before joining Colliers, Vince enjoyed a successful sales career in the New Zealand print industry for over 30 years.
In the past 3 years Vince has successfully sold multiple commercial and industrial properties, as well as placing many many new tenants into great spaces in Porirua City.

I joined the Colliers Wellington team in late 2011 and specialise in sales and leasing in areas outside of the Wellington CBD in particular focusing on the Kapiti area where I have lived for the past 20 years.
I come from a strong sales/entrepreneurial background where i owned and worked in the local Honda Car Franchise and Caltex Service Station, previously called Jack Motors (2000) Ltd for 15 years. Under my ownership I took the dealership to number 1 market share for new car sales for several years, before selling the business in 2006.
I have bought a large number of residential properties in the area over the past 15 years and currently own a high profile industrial site in the heart of Paraparaumu which I purchased in 2003, and two industrial sites in Levin. I believe I have a wealth of knowledge with regards to property in the Kapiti/Horowhenua area and a large client/contact base.
I am well known and highly regarded in the area through my many years in business. I am very passionate about the Kapiti Coast and take a huge interest in the development of the area.
Retail and Leasing Broker
Tim Bowden joined the Sales and Leasing team at Colliers International Wellington in April 2017. He specialises in Sales and Leasing in the Southern and Eastern suburbs of Wellington.
He first started with Colliers in 2013 acting as lease manager across the Land Information New Zealand contract before moving within Colliers to a lease advisory position with Z Energy. After managing Z’s nationwide retail portfolio Tim decided to transfer his property experience to the role of Sales and Leasing Broker in the Wellington market.
Tim understands that property is often not the core business of his clients and as such his communication skills and expertise across the different aspects of property enable him to deliver clients what they need when they need it. Having worked with owner-occupiers through to institutional owners and tenants, Tim has a wide network countrywide that helps him achieve outstanding results for his clients.
