As Director | Marketing & Communications for Colliers in New Zealand, Grant Torrie is responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary marketing team delivering the industry's best marketing solutions and platforms, developing and implementing a complete marketing and communications strategy whilst maintaining brand consistency across all media and aligning this to the company business plan. Grant collaborates extensively with his colleagues in the APAC Marketing & Communications network, sharing and implementing marketing expertise from across the region, accelerating success for clients in New Zealand. Grant is also a member of the Colliers New Zealand Social Taskforce on diversity issues.
Bringing extensive experience from a range of industries including entertainment, utilities, media and now property, he has a broad understanding of the role marketing plays in driving business performance.
An early adopter of digital technology for marketing, he has worked across a range of digital project implementations on multiple platforms and brings a platform-agnostic approach to creating digital marketing solutions. This includes experience at implementing and driving adoption of marketing automation technology, change management and best practice.
With more than 20 years' experience up to executive level working for leading New Zealand companies, he has a deep and extensive understanding in the planning and execution of media plans across traditional and digital media.

Grant joined the New Zealand Colliers team in December 2018. Prior to this, he had worked in a number of senior marketing roles. Grant's achievements include:
- Managing marketing technology solutions including marketing automation, analytics, segmentation, virtual data room providers and conversion rate optimisation.
- Managing significant digital transformation and change management projects
- Leading a New Zealand marketing team at Colliers New Zealand dedicated to producing marketing excellence in project marketing, provision of best-in-class CRM, digital marketing and data solutions, events management and superior guest services to all Colliers clients.
On a personal level, Grant led his team as a finalist for the NZ Direct Marketing Awards in 2017 for Marketing Team of the Year and was recognised as one of the three top media marketers in Australasia in 2016 at the PANPA Awards. In media, he led his team to four INMA Awards in 2011, the global newsmedia's most prestigious marketing awards. He has been a judge for the New Zealand Direct Marketing Awards since 2017. The marketing team at Colliers received a nomination in their first year of entry at the 2019 NZ Direct Marketing Awards for their work on the Colliers' Ingham's Portfolio Scheme on behalf of Property Syndication and their client, Silverfin NZ. He is a former chair of the Marketing Association's data advisory group and as a guest speaker has presented to Adobe Symposium in Sydney on two occasions. In 2023 he was a judge for the TVNZ Marketing Awards, part of the panel choosing this year's New Zealand Marketing Team of the Year.
Grant lived in China for nearly three years where he studied immersion Mandarin while juggling a full-time role as an English teacher.

PR & Communications Manager | Marketing & Communications
Daniel Richardson joined Colliers in mid-2021 as a Senior PR & Communications Advisor based in the CBD office in Auckland and was promoted to PR & Communications Manager at the start of 2023.
Daniel's role is centred around ensuring Colliers has a consistent and professional market voice through property articles for regular publications and proactive engagement with media with a focus on elevating the organisation's share of voice through timely media releases and web content relating to news, research, and market commentary. He also manages media queries, internal communications functions, and coordinates award entries for the business.
Daniel has extensive media and communications experience, working as an award-winning sports journalist for seven years before moving into communications. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing with a minor in Management through Massey University. He has written for a range of media publications and appeared on TV and radio.
Marketing Manager | Agency
Lisa is a commercially-aware marketing professional with exceptional analytical and organisational skills; self-driven with the ability to make sound business decisions and envision marketing activity within a macro property environment.
She has worked in London within the professional membership industry, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Royal Institute of British Architects.
Since starting at Colliers in 2019, she has managed and executed marketing for multiple residential projects and managed in-house publications for Investment Sales and Office Leasing. She provided nationwide support for several programs and platforms including Hubspot and Brandcast, using the latter to create a Colliers Marketing website to allow easy access to tools and guides for EAs and brokers nationwide.
In 2021, Lisa moved from focusing on marketing residential projects to leading the newly-formed commercial marketing team, providing specialised support across the commercial service lines.
In 2023 she became the Agency Marketing Manager, further expanding her scope and team by adding RPM to the agency service lines her team supports, alongside Investment Sales, Office Leasing, Retail Leasing, and Capital Markets. She focuses on enabling the agency service lines to maximise results for the client, whilst upskilling them in marketing best practices. The Agency marketing team also acts as a bridge between the wider marketing team and the rest of the company, promoting marketing services to internal property professionals and providing feedback to the marketing team.

Liam is a seasoned Digital Marketing professional with over 10 years of experience in media agencies and Ad tech provider.
As a Digital & Data Marketing Manager, he is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies to increase brand awarness and drive lead generations.
Prior to joining Colliers, Liam worked at Yahoo for 4 years as a Senior Strategy Solution Lead, where he helped clients maximise their digital marketing campaigns through innovative strategies and data targeting solutions. Liam has a proven track record of developing successful digital marketing campaigns across various industries, including technology, finance, and FMCG. He is a results-driven marketer who is skilled in using data analytics and consumer insights to optimise marketing campaigns and improve ROI.
With his extensive experience in digital marketing, Liam is well-positioned to help Colliers achieve it's marketing objectives and drive business growth through digital channels. He is a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering results.

Ashley has an strong background in campaign execution and B2B marketing. She has solid knowledge across various marketing platforms and a proven track record in improving marketing performance.
Ricky joined Colliers New Zealand's Marketing team in December 2022. He has over 7 years of professional experience in graphic design, photography, videography, and motion graphics. Before Ricky got into the Graphic design industry, he worked as a multimedia designer in Asia at Wynn Macau Hotel, and a professional wedding photographer and videographer at The Photo Studio in New Zealand.
