April 2022

Colliers is pleased to present our latest New Zealand Hotel Market Snapshot.

Over the past few months, we have witnessed a significant amount of positive news regarding the reopening of our borders to international inbound visitors first from Australia and subsequently travellers from visa-free countries in the coming days.

Whilst this is excellent news, the delayed timing of this, due largely to the Omicron outbreak, means our wider recovery has now been delayed until the second half of the year.

To find out more on the latest performance of the New Zealand hotel sector, download the report today.

Another recent trend we are seeing is a growing number of hotels being offered for sale now that international borders are open and offshore investors can actively review these opportunities.

If you would like further information on the hotels the Colliers team are taking to the market or require any specialist advice, please get in touch with one of the team.
