National Director | Office Leasing
Rob has over 25 years commercial property experience specialising in Office Leasing, Commercial Property, Financial Analysis and Valuation. He is the National Director of Commercial Leasing. In a prior role he was responsible for the National Property Management business. His current focus covers Office Leasing and Tenant Representation nationwide, particualrly in the Auckland CBD. Prior to working for Colliers International, Rob held positions in Wellington and Auckland with a major international fund manager. His roles included work in property valuation, leasing, purchase and sales.
Having worked in commercial real estate since 1989, Jim has 30 years experience in the industry and has been involved in many of Wellington’s largest office leasing deals throughout the past decade. As an owner of Colliers International Wellington, his specialisation is providing leasing solutions to corporate and Government tenants.
Before moving to New Zealand from the UK in 1994, Jim specialised in investment sales with the Bristol commercial property market.
Since 1999 Jim has managed Wellington’s most experienced office leasing team, with a current combined experience of over 90 years to their name. He handles opportunities across the whole office leasing market but his major strengths lie in advising on long-term relocations and lease restructuring projects.
Jim has been a director and shareholder at Colliers since 2004. He prides himself on his professionalism and skill in ensuring that projects are run to the client’s total satisfaction. His focus remains on taking those clients through a process that is cost-effective, enjoyable and as simple as possible.
In addition to his three decades’ experience, Jim’s strengths also lie with the established networks he maintains across the corporate and government sectors, encompassing a variety of complementary professions and skillsets. Jim has the connections and the resources to get the job done.
Mark is a high achieving investment broker specialising in investment sales and has negotiated in excess of $1.3 billion of sales both in Canterbury and throughout New Zealand. He has been instrumental in some of the biggest commercial property transactions in the South Island.
Mark’s extensive national network of institutional clients, family trusts and high net worth individuals are always seeking opportunities in the commercial property market. He is a partner and general manager of Colliers International in Christchurch and was previously managing director of CBRE locally for 12 years.
Recent major transactions include: the former Police Station at 68 St Asaph Street ($24.7m); Opus House, 12 Moorhouse Ave ($37.5m); Westpac, 7 Show Place ($14.5m); 282 Durham St (confidential); and 124-140 Kilmore Street ($25.2m).
Hamilton (Agency & Property Management)
In 1981 Mark joined the family owned company of Brunton Patton. Mark gained wide experience with the company in many aspects of the commercial property industry including property management and pioneering work in property
syndication. The company had a well deserved reputation as a leading player in the Hamilton commercial property market.

Janet is a Director at Colliers North Shore located in Takapuna and received the prestigious Women in Property award from the Property Council in 2019.
Janet was awarded Rookie of the Year in 2005, Marketer of the Year in 2013 and promoted to Director in 2016.
Janet specialises in office and retail sales and leasing, and investment sales. She is also a Board executive on the Takapuna Beach Business Association (TBBA) and previously on the Board of the Business North Harbour business association. Janet was also the first female President of the Pinnacle Ski Club in Ruapehu. Her connections are extensive, and with over 15 years at Colliers International Janet is well respected within the industry. Janet is passionate about commercial property and is one of the leading commercial brokers in Auckland.

Brynn heads our highly respected office leasing team in Christchurch.
He is the leading office leasing specialist in the South Island, working closely with landlords and tenants to provide strategic guidance. He has extensive market knowledge, gained over 14 years’ specialising in leasing.
Understanding the requirements of both stakeholders, Brynn assists landlords with bench marking deals and adds value to tenants by reviewing and refining their briefs.
He has successfully negotiated leases with a number of national and international brands and tenants including Duncan Cotterill, Nexia, PwC, and Chapman Tripp.
