Victoria Ski Sport is shutting its doors after nearly four decades in business, and selling its building at 130 Victoria St ‘as is where is.’
Owner operator Mike Unger bought the turn of the century villa in 1997 and is now retiring after 38 years.
Colliers International investment sales specialist Courtney Doig said the building will be sold with vacant possession. Directly opposite Dorset St, the 1045m2 site has dual access via Knox Lane. Net lettable area covers 420m2.
“This property has significant development potential and would be well suited for the likes of a hospitality owner/operator, particularly given its generous frontage onto Victoria St. As with any ‘as is where is,’ properties, potential buyers will need to undertake their own due diligence regarding any relevant earthquake damage.
“Victoria St continues to be hugely desirable and this property presents a unique opportunity to acquire a well-positioned landmark parcel,” Doig said.
The property is zoned Central Business Zone (CCB), which permits a wider range of activity up to a height of 28m. Office, residential and ground floor retail uses are permitted.
For sale by deadline private treaty, closing 25 September 2014.
